Meet and learn from expert rangers, conservationists and wildlife
veterinarians. This expedition forms the basis of understanding
ecology and the economics that is fundamental to the management and
conservation of wildlife. The Safari also goes to rural communities
on a one-day visit where participants join an outreach project,
supporting the wellbeing of their domestic stock and pets. Two to
three days will be spent participating in actual wildlife darting
and capture operations for the purpose of relocation, diagnostics or
radio collar installing. A helicopter is used in this activity and
participants will have the opportunity to fly with. A further
objective is to provide an opportunity to learn and experience a
different side of conservation that can broaden one’s outlook and
personal development.
